Legita – stems from English ‘legibility’. Legita is a modern typeface linked to historical traditions and classical styles of this kind. Its features are not typical for a book typeface and that’s why it should rather fall into a text typeface category. Nevertheless, its large x-height, low contrast, dynamic proportions and numerous character details are designed in order to facilitate its legibility. That is why legita serves perfectly in text sizes for long paragraphs but looks equally good in headings, titles and complex typographical compositions.
