Type Foundry presents and distributes fonts created by students from the Studio of Graphic Design and Multimedia, at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University Brno. The main idea behind this project was to preserve the time and energy consuming work that students dedicate to designing new fonts. Their results are often very successful and we wanted them to live longer than until their authors graduate and leave the school.

Students mainly tailor their work so as to convey a message by their art work or they participate in a specific project where their font will play a relevant role. However this should not stop anyone else to feel free to use these already created fonts in other projects within the university ground or outside it.

The patrons of the project are Lukáš Pevný and Jana Malíková, supervisor Matěj Málek and most importantly students themselves led by Matúš Ďurčík and Adam Mihalov.
