Sirion
Designed by Matúš Ďurčík in 2015
Sirion is a contemporary blackletter typeface. It merges strict proportions of gothic textura and free expressive form based on principle of non-parallel strokes. The basic shapes of lower-case letters were originally derived from a digital reconstruction of old Swiss manuscripts from 16th century while capital letters were designed in more modern style. This typeface can be of a good use especially in occasional lettering, posters and music cover art. Due to the fact that it is easy to read, this typeface can be also used in smaller sizes in short texts.
